Ken Arbrustmacher Elected to Clinton County Regional Educational Service Agency Board of Education

Clinton County Regional Educational Service Agency (CCRESA) welcomes Ken Armbrustmacher to the CCRESA Board of Education! Ken was elected to the CCRESA Board at the June Biennial Election for a term lasting until 2025. Ken has lived and raised his family in Dewitt for over 25 years and has ties to Fowler where he went to High School and Pewamo-Westphalia where his wife Cindy attended school. Ken and Cindy have two children, Mallory and Ryan who graduated from DeWitt Public Schools and gone on to Grand Valley State and University of Michigan respectively. In his spare time Ken enjoys walking, jogging and spending time with his family going on trips to their cottage where they spend time waterskiing and having family campfires.

Ken is employed at Auto Owners Insurance Company where he has served 24 years in many capacities, and currently as the Farm Underwriter Manager. Previously Ken was employed in the banking industry. He graduated from Fowler High School and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Ferris State University. Ken served on the DeWitt School Board for a six-year term giving him related experience to his new work on the CCRESA Board of Education and he is familiar with many CCRESA programs and services.

Ken has a unique ability to represent the needs of DeWitt residents and be familiar with many other CCRESA Constituents due to his strong ties in the Clinton County Community. Ken says, “I am excited to be able to Join the CCRESA Board of Education and give back to CCRESA. Everyone has been so warm and welcoming.” CCRESA looks forward to Ken’s contributions to the CCRESA Board of Education.



Stephanie Dyer Appointed to Clinton County Regional Educational Service Agency Board of Education

 The Clinton County Regional Educational Service Agency (CCRESA) Board of Education appointed Stephanie Dyer to replace a vacancy on the Board at their September meeting. Mrs. Dyer will complete a term ending in 2017 and will serve as Trustee. Mrs. Dyer has many years of experience in the field of education and is currently employed through a Michigan Department of Education State Initiated Grant project entitled Michigan’s Integrated Behavior and Learning Support Initiative (MiBLSi) hosted at Ingham Intermediate School District. Her role in the position is to support the implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) statewide. As CCRESA is providing a variety of supports for local districts to implement integrated academic and behavioral MTSS systems to achieve optimal student outcomes, her expertise will be greatly valued. Prior to MiBLSi, Stephanie worked twelve years for CCRESA as a School Psychologist, Special Education Supervisor for Early Childhood Services and Autism Team Coordinator and had the opportunity to work in all six local public school districts that CCRESA serves. She also works with the STatewide Autism Resources and Training (START) grant and sits on the Governor’s Autism Council Early Childhood and Education Subcommittees.

Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and an Educational Specialist Degree in School Psychology from Michigan State University. She has also completed post-graduate coursework in Special Education Administration, including School and Special Education Law and Finance and has experience with grant management.

Mrs. Dyer, her husband, Darin, and son, Hayden, live in St. Johns and are very active in the community.  As an example Stephanie serves on the St. Johns Redwings Athletic Boosters Board and previously on the St. Johns Public Schools Foundation for Excellence Board.

Mrs. Dyer states, "I wholeheartedly believe in and support the work of CCRESA, particularly around its commitment to an MTSS framework that allows for data-based decision making, implementation of evidenced-based practices and strong and positive outcomes for students."  Stephanie says, "I am excited to give back to CCRESA, as it was so good to me professionally and personally for many years.  I look forward to supporting the realization of CCRESA's vision."  CCRESA looks forward to the benefit of Mrs. Dyer's educational leadership experience.



Ken Krapohl Elected to Clinton County Regional Educational Service Agency Board of Education

The Clinton County Regional Educational Service Agency (CCRESA) Board of Education welcomed the election of Ken Krapohl at the June Biennial Election.  Mr. Krapohl will serve a term lasting until 2021 and has been elected Treasurer of the CCRESA Board.  He brings experience from his current role as Trustee on the Bath Public Schools Board of Education where he began his term in 2013.  Ken holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan Flint and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, with an emphasis in Personnel Administration from Western Michigan University.  Mr. Krapohl’s career in Human Resource Management has spanned many years including positions in retail, the Flint/Genessee County Job Corp Center, insurance and currently in benefit plan management at Dakkota Integrated Systems, LLC, which is a Tier One Automotive Interior Supplier. 

Mr. Krapohl and his wife live in Bath and especially enjoy family time with their two daughters who are actively involved in competitive dance.  Ken is an avid golfer and enjoys cooking with his family.

Mr. Krapol says, “He is currently enjoying learning about the vast array of programs and services CCRESA has to offer”.  His personal goal on the CCRESA Board is to assist local district collaborative efforts with CCRESA, particularly in business applications.  Ken noted, “He looks forward to serving the community in his new role and believes we are all in the educational process together.”  CCRESA looks forward to his contributions in moving CCRESA forward.
