Core Performance Indicators

Core Performance Indicators (CPIs) are state-defined measures that evaluate how well Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs are performing in key areas tied to student success. CPIs measure student outcomes and program effectiveness in graduation, academics, career placement, equity, and credential attainment.

2S1/2S2/2S3 – Reading, Math & Science Proficiency
Measures proficiency on 11th-grade state tests.

3S1 – Post-Program Placement
Tracks concentrators entering college, training, military, service programs, or employment after high school.

4S1 – Nontraditional Program Concentration
Measures underrepresented-gender participation in nontraditional fields.

5S1 – Credential Attainment
Tracks concentrators graduating with recognized industry or postsecondary credentials
