Work Experience in Career Field: Automotive Technician
What inspired you to teach in your program career field? After years of serving as a professional Automotive Technician, I felt a strong calling to transition from the shop floor to the classroom to mentor the next generation of mechanics. I am eager to share my real-world experience to provide students with the hands-on skills and industry insights they need to excel in today’s automotive industry.
What are some interests outside of the classroom? Being outside, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and working on cars and trucks.
How do you hope your students will remember you? My ultimate goal is for students to leave this shop knowing that I was a dedicated partner in their journey toward a successful career in the automotive industry. I hope that by sharing my professional experiences, I can help them bridge the gap between the classroom and a rewarding career path, ensuring they feel confident and prepared for their first job.
